WinterPRIDE 2012 Whistler's Gay Ski Week
WinterPRIDE is Whistler's
annual gay and lesbian ski week. This year the event takes
place from February 5 to 12.

WinterPRIDE whistler features 8 days filled with fun events & activities
Highlights of the festival include:
- Saturday, Feb. 4th - Celebrities Release: Avalanche Kickoff party (Vancouver)
- Sunday, Feb. 5th - Welcome Party & Retrospective on the Past 20 Years
- Thursday, Feb. 9th - Pride March through village: Skiers Plaza - Conference Centre
- Thursday, Feb. 9th - Official Proclamation of "Pride Week" by Mayor of Whistler
- Thursday, Feb. 9th - Introduction to Mr. Gay Canada Finalist (OUTtv Reality Show)
- Saturday, Feb. 11th - Crowning of 2012 Mr. Gay Canada
The week will feature daily complimentary ski or snowboard guiding, daily après ski parties and nightly theme parties. Other activities during the week include culinary experience, yoga, spa retreats, dog sledding, snowmobile tours, comedy show, pool party and educational workshops.
The WinterPRIDE festival will end with the infamous Snowball dance. The evening features DJ Adam Dreaddy, DJ/Produce Manny Lehman and takes place at the Whistler Conference Centre from 10pm to 4am.
