Prior Winter Olympic ski resorts have experienced an "aversion factor" in the year of the Games as many guests stayed away fearing crowds or increased prices. With fewer guests expected on the mountains, skiers and riders next year will have a minimum of 7,500 acres to explore all season long. The resort's annual snowfall average of 33 feet and so far this year Whistler has been blessed with incredible ski and snowboard conditions.
