Whistler Winter Activities

Whistler is so well know for it's skiing and rightfully so. But there are also a number of other activities and recreation pursuits available during winter months for non-skiers.

Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains

Blackcomb Mountain offers over a mile vertical rise to ski or snowboard. And Whistler Mountain isn't much smaller. Over 200 marked runs in total and in excess of 8,000 acres of skiable terrain. No wonder these mountains are consistently ranked as the top ski & snowboard area in North America especially for best terrain. Whistler Blackcomb boasts the largest high-speed lift system in the world.

Meadow Park Sports Centre

The Sports Centre is a complete recreation facility with pool, fitness rooms, squash courts, arena and more. The facility has hosted training camps for many NHL hockey teams including the Vancouver Canucks and Team Canada, as well as many major figure skating camps and events.
